MINIMUM WEIGHT AND TIGHT TOLERANCES

In times of ever-scarcer resources and increasingly stringent environmental protection regulations, it is becoming more and more important to achieve optimum production results using less raw material. This means the following for machine building and tool making: short process chains and machines for near-net-shape forming. Optimization is achieved in terms of both function and weight. The key characteristics of parts manufactured on HMP machines are minimum weight and close tolerances. Using our technology, we try to reduce machining work to the absolute required minimum.

PROCESSES:

ROTARY SWAGING

Rotary swaging is an incremental forming process for the reduction of tubes and bars.

AXIAL FORMING

Axial forming involves reductions and increases in diameter with the help of a die and a Junker tool.

ROLLING

This is a forming process in which material is passed between two or more rotating tools (rollers).

DRAWING AND STRAIGHTENING

Drawing is a wire-reducing process and improves wire straightness.
